This common species develops in living branches of Salix caprea (but also other broadleaf trees) and the adults are found on leaves of the host trees.
Body length: 15 - 21 mm Life cycle: 1 - 3 years Adults in: June - September Host plant: willows (Salix spp.) Distribution: West Palaearctic
