Jiří Kaňka, Ph.D.

Research interests:

Numerical analysis and optimal design of optical fibers functionalized for chemical and biochemical evanescent sensors. The functionalization of sensor fibers includes special coatings, inscription of long-period gratings and immobilization of metallic plasmonic nanoparticles.
