According to Rejzek et al. [❖] in Syria Phytoecia (Coptosia) ganglbaueri develops in Anchusa strigosa (Boraginaceae),
Anchusa cf. barrelieri (Boraginaceae), and
Echium glomeratum (Boraginaceae).
