The depicted mounted beetle was collected in Hakkari environs (Hakkari province, SE Turkey). The living specimen was collected and photographed on the host plant (Eryngium) close to Dzori Taguhin Hotel ca 6.5 km E of Vayk (Վայք; Vayots Dzor Province, SE Armenia) on June 12, 2012.
