The price of one (transfer) ticket is 12 Kc /person . The ticket
is valid for 60 minutes. The tickets are to be bought in advance (e.g.,
in the newspaper stand at the airport) and should be invalidated after
entering the bus (tram) in a device installed near the door or
by the Metro (subway) entrance. Tourist passes for one or more days are
also available.
Arriving by plane: We recommend you to take the bus.
Bus: you have to buy a ticket first
(transfer for 12 CZK) at a newspaper stand or from ticket machines in the
airport building. There are several exchange offices in the arrival hall
where you can change money; the current rate is about 36 CZK for 1 USD.
Take bus no. 119 (the stop is behind
the road and parking place in front of the hall, about 100 meters). In
about 20 minutes it takes you to the station DEJVICKA
(terminal). Then use the above map.
Taxi: the stand is in front of
the airport building. It is advised to use the registered AIRPORT
CAR firm (white Volkswagens with a Bellinda ad). It is strongly advised
to ask about the price before taking the taxi (the fare should be around
500 CZK- about 15 USD).
Airport shuttle: the stand is in front
of the airport building. The shuttle goes to the city center but stops
(upon request) at the Metro station DEJVICKA.
