Trichoferus antonioui is a nocturnal species endemic to Cyprus [❖]. Larvae of this beetle develop in living shrubs of Cistus creticus. Adults hatch very late in summer.

Adults in:August - September
Host plant:Cistus creticus
Distribution:an endemic species to Cyprus


The depicted beetle was reared from a living branch of Cistus creticus collected in Odou NE Lemesos, Troodos Mts., Cyprus.
