The depicted living beetles were collected on the host plant, mullein (Verbascum densiflorum), in Khndzoresk (Խնձորեսկ; 1290 m, Syunik province, SE Armenia). The mounted beetle was collected on the same host plant in Neo Ithilo (Peloponnese, Greece).
