Academy Assembly

The Academy Assembly held its XLIII th meeting in the Municipal House in Vinohrady December 12, 2013. An important item discussed was the further development and improvement of the Academy’s work. Among invited guests were Dalibor Štys, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports, Rudolf Haňka; the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor; Václav Hampl, Rector of Charles University; Petr Pokorný, President of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic; Rudolf Zahradník, ASCR Honorary President and others. The Assembly, as the highest body of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, makes all its pivotal decisions.
