The Institute of Animal Physiology and Genetics of the ASCR organized the 2nd Conference on Large Animal Models of Huntington’s disease November 17–19, 2013 at the Academy’s Chateau Liblice Conference Center. Nineteen invited lectures were devoted to rodent sheep, pig and monkey models of Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Postdocs and Ph.D. students especially could present and discuss their results with top scientists in the field during the guided poster session.
