Host plant:oligophagous on various Poaceae (e.g. Hedysarum, Hordeum, Triticum)
Distribution:Central, SW and South Europe, North Africa, Caucasus, Turkey


The living beetles were photographed on grass (Hordeum sp.) in Perivoli village (SW of Corfu Island, Greece) and in Sussargues (Hérault, France). The mounted beetle was collected on its host plant (Triticum sp.) in Břeclav (South Moravia, Czech Republic).
