The aim of the Colloquium is to facilitate the exchange of up to date information and knowledge among specialists in structural and multibody dynamics, in coupled interacting systems as aero-elasticity, hydro-elasticity, bio-mechanics, systems with feedbacks and mechatronics. Zuzana Broučková received the "Outstanding Paper Award" for the best paper in the "Jets" session at the HEFAT 2016 conference in Spain, held on 11-13 July 2016. The paper was entitled: Z. Broučková and Z. Trávníček: "Visualization and Heat Transfer Study of a Synthetic Jet Impinging on a Circular Cylinder".

In December 3 – 4, our institute will be visited by prof. Elisabeth Aeby-Gautier (Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy, France) and prof. Benoit Appolaire (CNRS-ONERA, Chatillon-Paris, France), who are both interested in experimental characterization and mathematical modelling of microstructures in metastable titanium alloys. »»»
