1993 - today: Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Department of Technology of Optical Fibers, since 1996 scientific worker, since 2003 head of the department. Special optical fibres for fibre lasers and optical fiber sensors. Doped silica materials for optical fiber drawing, methods of their preparation (MCVD) and characterization.
