According to Martin Rejzek et al. [❖] in Turkey Phytoecia (Neomusaria) suworovi develops in three different Salvia (Lamiaceae) species: [1], [2] and [3]. P. (N.) suworovi has been redescribed by Mikhail Danilevsky in detail in 2008 [✧].

Body length:♂♂ 9.1 - 11.6 mm / ♀♀ 8.5 - 13.4 mm
Life cycle:1 year
Adults in:May - July
Host plant:several sage (Salvia sp.) species
Distribution:a species endemic to Eastern Anatolia (Turkey; ✧)


The depicted beetles were collected on the host plant (Salvia) in Buğlan Geçidi pass (1600 m; 40 km NNW Muş, Eastern Turkey).
