In December 3 – 4, our institute will be visited by prof. Elisabeth Aeby-Gautier (Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy, France) and prof. Benoit Appolaire (CNRS-ONERA, Chatillon-Paris, France), who are both interested in experimental characterization and mathematical modelling of microstructures in metastable titanium alloys.
On the occasion of their visit, a half-day workshop will be organized in the lecture room B on December 2, starting at 9:10. The workshop will be organized within the Czech Science Foundation AdMat project and will consist of invited talks by prof. Aeby-Gautier and prof. Appolaire, complemented by talks of postdocs and PhD students both from Nancy and AdMat teams. The detailed programme of the meeting can be found here, the abstracts of the talks here.
