Body length:	14 - 20 mm
Life cycle:	1 year
Adults in:	April - June
Host plant:	asphodels (Asphodelus spp., Xanthorrhoeaceae)
Distribution:	whole Mediterranean region, Kazakhstan, Romania, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine

The depicted beetle was collected on the host plant (Asphodelus microcarpus) near Mandra (Thrace, NE Greece).
