The Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, is seeking a researcher to complement the team for the project „Non-classical logical models of information dynamics“ funded by the Czech Science Foundation.
Candidates with strong background in inquisitive logic/semantics and working competence in dynamic logic and non-classical logic are encouraged to apply. The part-time position is is open for a fixed term, from 1.2.2018 till 31. 12. 2020.

Position in multimodal Neuroimaging data analysis and modelling

We are seeking researchers to complement the team for the project “Functional and structural reorganization of brain networks after stroke: implications for diagnosis and therapy of associated comorbidities“ funded by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.
The project is carried out in the Department of Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics at the Institute of Computer Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague in collaboration with the Institute of Physiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Czech Technical University and the Motol University Hospital.
Conditions
- Fellowship is of minimum 12 months duration (with possible extension up to 42 months to be decided after the first year; subsequent application for tenure-track position in the institute is possible).
- Application deadlines: open until filled.
- Starting date: upon agreement.
- This is a full-time fixed term contract appointment. Part time contract possible upon agreement.
- Monthly gross salary: starting from 30 000 CZK based on qualifications and experience.

- Hold a PhD in mathematics, computer science, neuroscience or a related discipline. (In exceptional circumstances, applications for a doctoral position will be considered).

- Prior experience with neuroimaging data (electrophysiology, diffusion MRI) is advantageous

CAS–ICS postdoctoral position
The Institute of Computer Science (ICS) of the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) invites outstanding and enthusiastic junior researchers, PhD holders, to apply for a postdoc position funded jointly by CAS and ICS.
Conditions
- Each position is of 12–24 months duration.

- This is a full-time fixed term contract appointment. Part time contract possible if taking care
