Host plant:polyphagous in deciduous trees and plants
Distribution:Greece [❖], Lebanon, Syria, Turkey


The adults of this very nice Trichoferus species were collected in Mersin, South-West Turkey. Here, it seems to be broadly polyphagous on deciduous trees. Larvae, pupae, and adults of Trichoferus kotschyi were collected in oaks (Quercus spp.}, carob (Ceratonia siliqua), but also in dead herbaceous plants.
