RESEARCH INTERESTS
Chemistry of Fluorine Compounds, Preparation of Biocompatible Materials with Perfluoroalkyl chains, Application of Microwave irradiation on the Photoreactions, Synthetic and Exploratory Organic Photochemistry, Chemistry of Persistent organic pollutants.
Extensive experience in traditional methods of synthesis, separation, purification and analysis of organic compounds including multistep preparations; kinetics by various methods; handling of air-, moisture- and light-sensitive compounds; various photochemical techniques: direct/sensitized photolyses, microwave photochemistry, preparation of electrodeless discharge lamps.
More than 30 scientific publications in International Journals. Over 25 presentations at major Czech and International scientific meetings.
