This little Cerambycid develops in a variety of broadleaf trees and shrubs (especially in Rosaceae - Malus, Pyrus, Rosa, Crataegus etc.). In Central Europe it is a very common species and it is possible to collect it by beating from leaves of the host plants.

The depicted beetle was beaten from an ash (Fraxinus excelsior) in Zbečno (Central Bohemia, Czechia).
