The living specimen was collected and photographed by P.Jelínek in Norio (ნორიო) environs (Kvemo Kartli region, Georgia) in May 2016. The depicted mounted beetle was collected by M.Rejze in Cankurtaran Gecidi E Hopa (NE Turkey).
