European Investment of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry
Clermont-Ferrand, the town in midland France, is known for its university oriented on chemistry (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand). In 1973, Professor J. Lacoste, the head of the university, asked the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the ASCR for co-operation in organizing training courses for the 3rd grade students. Practical training in enterprises or at research institutes is compulsory for successful graduation as well in France as in the Czech Republic.
