Host plant:polyphagous in deciduous trees, especially in Rosaceae
Distribution:Europe except North, Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Turkey, Near East, Iran


The depicted mounted beetle was beaten from dead apricot (Prunus armeniaca) twigs in Štúrovo (South Slovakia). The living one was reared from larva found in Prunus armeniaca twing collected in Znojmo environs (South Moravia).
