Body length: 13 - 24 mm Life cycle: 2 - 3 years Adults in: June - August Host plant: broadly polyphagous in deciduous trees (Juglans, Ficus, Populus, Prunus, Castanea, Quercus, etc.) Distribution: whole Mediterranean region, Iran, Switzerland, Crimea
The living and mounted male beetles were beaten from Ficus carica in Gradac (Dalmatia, Croatia). The mounted female beetle was attracted by light in Zaostrog (Dalmatia, Croatia).Collected by M.Hoskovec and M.Rejzek.
