Members of the Department regularly give university courses and lead seminars. The Department has organized a three-year cycle of lecture and seminars led by prominent analytic philosophers from abroad for the students of Philosophy at the Philosophica Faculty in Prague (Charles University) and Brno (Masaryk University); this was supported by the Jan Hus Foundation. In cooperation with the University of Kent, the Department has organized exchange stays of students in Canterbury and in Prague, accompanied by student conferences. Members of the Department have given guest lectures and lecture courses at universities abroad (including Cambridge, Oxford, London, Paris, Bristol, Canterbury, Geneva, Stockholm, Uppsala, Helsinki, Fribourg, or Neuchâtel).
