Pseudosphegesthes bergeri is rare species endemic to Crete [❖] with relative small area of occurence in the West part of the island (five localities). Larvae of this interesting beetle develop in dead wood of Kermes oak (Quercus coccifera).

Distribution:	an endemic species of Crete
