The depicted mounted beetles were found on a trunk of a dead plane (Platanus orientalis) in Leptokaria (North Greece) at night. The live male beetle was photographed only (protected species in Central Europe) on a living small-leaved lime (Tilia cordata) near Malacky (SW Slovakia) at night.Collected by M.Hoskovec
