According to Rejzek et al. [❖] in Iran Agapanthia angelicae develops in Ferula hermonis (Apiaceae).

Body length:12 - 18 mm
Life cycle:1 year
Adults in:May - June
Host plant:Ferula hermonis
Distribution:Iran, Central Asia


The depicted beetle was collected by M.Rejzek in Calus (prov. Mazandaran, N Iran). Living specimen was photographed by our friend Karel Hodek in Iran.
