According to Rejzek M. et al. [❖] in Iran Neoplocaederus scapularis develops in Ferula foetida (Apiaceae).

Life cycle:2 - 3 years
Adults in:May - July
Host plant:Ferula foetida
Distribution:Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia


The depicted beetles were collected in Dorud near Borugerd (prov. Lorestan, West Iran).
