South-oriented hillside covered by sparse pine (Pinus brutia) forest with rich Erophaca baetica orientalis undergrowth was a typical habitat of Agapanthia gemella Holzschuh, 1989 in Western Cyprus (860 m; ca 1 km NNW of Stavros tis Psokas' Forest Station, Paphos district).
