In Turkey Centaurea triumfetti (Asteraceae) serves as a host plant for Cortodera colchica Reitter, 1890 [Rejzek et al. (2001)] and in Europe for Cortodera holosericea (Fabricius, 1801) [Švácha et Danilevsky (1988)].
