This interesting Dorcadion species is variable in the coloration and elytral strips length / width. We collected this beetle in two distant (175 km) localities in Armenia, both populations were different (see pictures).

The depicted beetles were collected in alpine meadows 6 km SW of Vaghatur village in altitude 2100-2300 m (Syunik province, Armenia) on June 11, 2012.Collected by M.Hoskovec

The depicted males of Dorcadion indutum were collected in alpine meadows near village Semyonovka (Սեմյոնովկա) in altitude 2200-2400 m (6 km SE of Dilijan; borders between Gegharkunik and Tavush provinces, Armenia) on June 3, 2012.
