This interesting beetle was collected in Bács-Kiskun county (Hungary). The pictures show an adult sitting on a buckthorn (Rhamnus frangula) leaf and two freshly hatched adults in pupal cells build in the wood of the host.Collected by Nikola Rahme and Petr Jelínek
