Lecture “Adaptive microscopy:Combining wavefront shaping and data processing for better images”
On 22.7.-23.7.2019. professor Alexander Jesacher visited our institute.
Prof. Alexander Jesacher working at the medical University of Innsbruck - Section for Biomedical Physics.
His main general research interests lie in applied optical imaging, with an emphasis biological microscopy. Specific interests are computational imaging, i.e. the joint design of physical optical transfer functions and data post-processing, as well as applications of dynamic and programmable optical elements (spatial light modulators), such as aberration correction, pupil phase engineering and holography.
Prof. Alexander Jesacher visited our laboratories, he met scientists working on a similar topic and he gave lecture “Adaptive microscopy:Combining wavefront shaping and data processing for better images ” that was visited by 30 scientists.
After the lecture, a fruitfull discussion with the scientists took place.
