According to Rejzek et al. [❖] in Syria Anchusa cf. barrelieri (Boraginaceae) serves as host plant of Phytoecia (Coptosia) ganglbaueri (Pic, 1951) and Phytoecia (Pilemia) griseomaculata (Pic, 1891).
