Dorcadion scabricolle (Dalman, 1817) is one of the most frequently recorded Dorcadion species of Turkey.
The depicted mounted beetle was collected in Erdemli W Mersin (SW Turkey). The living male and autochromic female were photographed in Nemrut Dagi caldera near Van lake (East Turkey).
The autochromic female was captured in meadows situated ca 3 km West of Lichk (Լիճք) in Zangezur Range (Զանգեզուրի լեռնաշղթա) in Syunik Province of South Armenia.
