Phytoecia (Semiangusta) rebeccae, described by Martin Rejzek and Gianfranco Sama [❖], is undoubtedly associated with Centaurea behen (Asteraceae). This was confirmed by finding of larvae in roots of this plant. Adults fly quickly and land on leaves of the host plant. Usually it is possible to locate adults while actively flying. Occasionally adults can be found under the large basal leaves of their host plants.
