Agapanthia obydovi, species very close to Agapanthia detrita, was described by Mikhail L. Danilevsky from Taukum desert in Kazakhstan in 2000 [❖]. This interesting and little-known Agapanthia, developing in stalks of Eremurus, is so far known only from relatively small area in vicinity of Kolshengel village (412 m, N44° 20' E75° 33', Taukum desert, Kazakhstan). |
