Purpuricenus deyrollei is known from Iran, Syria, Azerbaijan and Armenia, but in all these countries this rare species occurs extremely locally. It is a diurnal species visiting flowering shrubs. The depicted beetles were collected near Minudast (NE Iran, Khorasan province).Collected by M.Rejzek
