Phytoecia (Paracoptosia) bithynensis was reported to be associated with Cynoglossum cf. foliosum (Boraginaceae) [❖].

Depicted living specimen was photographed on its host plant - Anchusa italica in Buglan Gecidi (Anatolia, SE Turkey).
