Asemum tenuicorne is a very rare species with scattered distribution over Europe and Near East.

Distribution:Italy, Greece, Sweden, Turkey, Syria


The depicted beetle was collected on bark of a dying pine (Pinus) in Taygetos Mts. (1400 m, 30 km W Sparti, Lakoonia nomos, SW Peloponnese peninsula, Greece).
