Host plant:coniferous trees, but the principal host is Norway spruce (Picea abies)
Distribution:North and montane Central-West Europe, Rumania, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia


The depicted beetles were captured on wing in Kyjov (North Bohemia, Czech Republic).
