Body length:	9 - 14 mm
Life cycle:	1 year
Adults in:	May - June
Host plant:	polyphagous on deciduous trees
Distribution:	an endemic species to Iran

The depicted beetle was collected by M.Rejzek on the dead oak (Quercus sp.) in locality called Gorgan (NE Iran, prov. Mazandaran). Living specimen was photographed by our friend Karel Hodek in Iran.
