The second and extended edition of book (launched in 1999) proposes the analysis and interpretation of one hundred oral history interviews led with active protagonists of student movement of Velvet Revolution of 1989. To the second edition it was incorporated two new chapters, which are concerned about the issue of history and memory of student witnesses from key events of Czech modern and contemporary history and about the feedback of the first edition of the book in a Czech public space after 1999.
