Meranie kvality života: analýza
nástrojov z aspektu ich teoretických východísk |
| S nárastom počtu nástrojov na meranie kvality
života sa pre výskumníkov aj klinikov stáva
problémom vybrať ten najvhodnejší. Prehľadové
štúdie nástrojov na zisťovanie kvality života
(ďalej QoL nástrojov) kladú dôraz na informácie
o základných vlastnostiach nástrojov – informácie
o ich doménach a psychometrických
vlastnostiach – veľmi často bez uvedenia definície
meraného znaku, resp. jeho teórie. Táto
štúdia sa snaží ohodnotiť teoretické východiská
QoL nástrojov. Realizovaný bol systematický
prehľad QoL nástrojov a porovnané teórie
a definície kvality života, z ktorých vychádzajú.
Pozornosť bola venovaná aj doménam kvality
života, ktoré daný nástroj obsahuje. Do prehľadu
bolo zahrnutých 57 QoL nástrojov, z toho
21 generických a 36 špecifických. Len päť zo
skúmaných nástrojov bolo skonštruovaných na
základe teórie, z toho dva nástroje na základe
jednej a tej istej teórie. Najdôležitejším zistením
je rozmanitosť v chápaní kvality života, čo poukazuje
na nedostatočnú ujasnenosť teoretických
východísk diagnostických nástrojov. |

| Quality of life measurement: Analysis of instruments
from their theoretical starting points |
| The increase of number of instruments for measuring
the quality of life brings the problem for
both the researchers and the clinicians to choose
the most proper one. The overview studies of instruments
for assessing the quality of life (QoL
instruments) are stressing the information concerning
their basic characteristics - information
about its domains and psychometric characteristics,
quite often without mentioning the definition
of the measured trait, and its theory respectively.
This study tries to evaluate the theoretical starting
points of QoL instruments by presenting the
systematical overview of QoL instruments and
comparing the theories and definitions of quality
of life from which these instruments come out.
The attention was also paid to the domains of
quality of life covered by the given instrument.
The overview contents 57 QoL instruments, 21
of which are generic and 36 are specific. Only
few of studied instruments were constructed on
the basis of a theory, two of them on the basis of
the same theory. The most important finding is
the variety in understanding the quality of life
what points to insufficient clarification of staring
points of the diagnostic instruments. |
