Deroplia albida is a nocturnal species endemic to Canary Islands. The species is oligophagous on various Euphorbia plants (e.g. Euphorbia aphyla, Euphorbia regis-jubae).

Body length:10 - 20 mm
Life cycle:1 - 2 years
Adults in:December - May
Host plant:Euphorbia species
Distribution:a species endemic to Canary Islands


The depicted beetles were collected in Tamaimo NE Puerto de Santiago (Tenerife, Canary Islands) and in La Vizcaína in Valle Gran Rey (La Gomera, Canary Islands).
