The depicted mounted specimen interesting and rare beetle was captured on wing in summit plateaus of Nemrut Dagi Mt.
(Adiyaman prov., Anatolia, SE Turkey)., the living one was photographed in in Buğlan Geçidi pass (1600 m; 40 km NNW Muş, Eastern Turkey).
