Body length:	20 - 35 mm
Life cycle:	2 - 3 years
Adults in:	June - July
Host plant:	Prunus spp.
Distribution:	Iran, Central Asia

These highly interesting and rare beetles were collected on Prunus in Golestan forest 45 km NE Minudast (prov. Khorasan, North Iran) together with their larvae. The living female of Dissopachys pulvinata was reared from larva.
