Purpuricenus graecus, described by Milan Sláma from Gerania and Loutraki in 1993 [✧], is rare species endemic to Greece.

Body length:10 - 14 mm
Life cycle:2 - 3 years
Adults in:May - July
Host plant:Quercus spp.
Distribution:Greece


The depicted beetle was reared from larva found in oak twig collected in Anixi environs (Northern Greece).
