Mentoring for women scientists in Leibniz institutions
The Leibniz Association promotes gender equality. The pilote project "Mentoring for women scientists in Leibniz institutions" is a major strategic tool to reach this goal. Excellent research needs excellent women scientists. With this one-year program, the Leibniz Association seeks to address highly qualified female postdocs to help them gain leadership positions. Dr. Marita Thomas from WIAS's Research Group "Partial Differential Equations" participated in the pilote project in 2011/12. From November 2014, Dr. Karoline Disser from the same research group started as a mentee in the program.
