Clytus buglanicus, interesting and rare member of Eastern Anatolian longhorn beetle fauna, was described by our friend Stanislav Kadlec (✝ 2008) according to one, by him in Buğlan Geçidi captured male. The Clytus buglanicus is very close to the species Clytus kumalariensis Johanides, 2001 from the central part of western Turkey.

The depicted male beetle was captured in Buğlan Geçidi pass (1600 m; 40 km NNW Muş, Eastern Turkey) on May 21.-24., 2001.
